Re-worked the landing page. The old one was modified slightly and moved to the brand new ABOUT PAGE!!!!!
the next thing I want to do is make this notes page a bit nicer; rn it looks kinda bland. But, all that aside, I really like how the site is coming along. There's still a lot left to add, but I think what I've done so far is much better than I would've thought possible given the limitations.
Added the bone zone!! Why? idk. I just woke up this morning and thought "Add the bone zone to the website", and so I did. Now, there's 1 extra thing on this site (horaayy). Who knows what's going to be next...
Guys... I did it. Snake is done. It's probably very inefficient but it works and that's all that matters to me. now i've just got to think of what else to add to this skeleton of a website.
Anyway, I'm probably going to make this public now that there is at least 1 thing to do here. Hopefully people have meaningful suggestions on what to put here, because I don't really have anything meaningful to share like a lot of the other websites on neocities. I'm sure I'll find something. Maybe I could just rate movies or something like that.
I actually made progress on snake for once. I got the little guy moving around and all that jazz. Not a complete game yet, but it's a monumental improvement over just 2 days ago. Makes me wonder what took me so long before.
I have returned. Don't know for how long yet but hopefully long enough for me to build snake. fingers crossed that neocities finished their cache bug.
I have been trying to cut back on my internet use (to limited success), which is one of the biggest reasons why i haven't been working on this site all that much. I'm hoping that if I, at the very least, stop binging youtube and getting nothing done I'll have more motivation to do other, more interesting things (like this). So, who knows. Maybe I'll work on this site more often. It's certainly better than the alternative.
BTW I feel the need to clarify that I did NOT use AI to write this note. I have simply become a giga nerd and started reading real books (terrifying ik), And suprisingly enough, that has radically changed the way I construct sentances which is an extremilly weird feeling, but a welcome one. The only problem that comes from that is now I'm terrified that if my writing looks "too formal", it'll look like AI wrote it and not the real living breathing robot behind the keyboard.
i have had so much to do. but in the mean time i learned how to make snake on my TI-84 calculator so i think i've got a pretty good idea on how to continue. now, the only thing that will stop me is neocities crippling cache issues that prevent the website from updating (yeaahh leat sgooo)
bit of a hiatus but im back at it. i had to hold off on snake to work on the buttons on the home page. they should now scroll if the window gets too small so you can click all the buttons. i gotta work on snake
i do plan on making the home page a bit prettier, i just dont know how i want it to look rn. in the mean time im gonna start on snake
first note!! spent a whole day trying to make this bc if a simple bug in my rel scale script (i had to make my own script for relative scale btw).
current plans are to add a snake game or something (will probably be out by the time you see this). maybe even tetris if im feeling like some torture.
i may also consider adding a showcase of some stuff but idk what itd be a showcase of
